2) Slowly - Reverse

 

 

 
Some guy from Toronto who makes noisy, shoegazey, post-rock-y music of some sort. These tracks were initially developed during the writing sessions for Slowly's 2019 album 'Reveal'. Charlie thought the album was getting a bit long, so he shelved these 4 tracks and kinda forgot about them. While working on a brand new Slowly album (11 brand-spankin'-new tracks, coming soon!), Charlie decided to revisit these tracks, flesh them out and release them before putting finishing-touches on the new album - because, that's the kinda guy he is this month. This EP could maybe be considered a companion piece to Reveal?...maybe like the musical equivalent of one of those fancy post-credit movie scenes that are all the rage these days?...or, like, maybe these songs could be considered some 'super awesome bonus tracks' for the Reveal album...just, released on a separate EP instead of being bundled with the original album? Sure, why not?...let's go with that!

Glia is a four-piece band based out of Houston, Texas .
Glia draws influence from the ethereal ambiance and sonic experimentation of early shoegaze bands, the aggressive, straight-ahead DIY ethos of 1980s American punk, as well as the idiosyncrasies of post-punk and goth music to create an eclectic nugaze sound. less recorded, mixed, and mastered by Michael Briggs at Civil Audio credits released June 3, 2021
