Singles of the Week (48//20)

1) Nekola - Lidémoni 

  

"Lidémoni" je název druhého alba kopřivnického hudebního souboru Nekola. Démoni samoty, strachu, smutku ale i prosvítající naděje jsou tématy tohoto alba, které vznikalo od jara 2019 do podzimu 2020 v kopřivnických studiích Konferák, Kachnička Entertainment a Animan.
K nahrávání si jádro kapely - Marie Jalůvková (zpěv, basa), Tomáš Kocian (programování a syntezátory) a Michal Burget (syntezátory, klarinet, aerophon) opět přizvalo osvědčené hosty - Toma Neuwertha na bicí, Zbyňka Machetanze na kytary a Martina Galiu na pozoun.
Nekola se postarali o nahrávání a mix, mastering, stejně jako u první nahrávky "Nekologie", svěřili Danu Václavkovi.
Lidémoni vychází digitálně 22.11.2020, následovat bude vinylová edice, která však, díky dlouhým výrobním čekacím lhůtám, bude k dispozici až na jaře 2021.
Nekola děkuje všem, kteří si předplatili vinyl či digitální verzi a pomohli tak kapele s náklady spojenými se vznikem alba, všem hostům a fanouškům za podporu i kritiku. Nad hlavou mraky závodí, chladný vítr stromy čistí a na holých větvích svítí obrysy budoucího listí.

"Během skládání těchhle písniček jsem brečel. Když jsem pak rozdělané songy poslouchal ve sluchátkách na ulici, brečel jsem taky.
Hudebně je to totiž vyvrcholení všeho, co s Bert & Friends tvoříme," říká dojatě Romanutti.
Já jen doufám, že se bude jednat o slzy štěstí a radosti... Když jsem tuhle písničku skládal, došlo mi, že je to pro mě to nejsilnější, co jsem zatím napsal. Je to pro mě vyvrcholení všeho, co s Bert & Friends tvoříme. Proto to nešlo jinak, než aby v klipu byly dohromady všechny ty světy, který jsme doteď vytvořili:

 SEASURFER are breaking new ground with the 16 tracks of their third album “Zombies”. The sound of the German duo is still fuzzy, full of reverb and layers, but more synthetic beats and rhythms lead to a darker electronic noise pop style with strong influences from the post punk and cold wave genre. “Zombies” draws a murky painting of all the horror and abysses of these days, while the music is full of driving basses, noisy guitars, atmospheric synths and the ethereal vocals of songstress Apolonia. Nevertheless, there shimmers likewise a subtle pop attitude, which offers a certain kind of 80s reminiscence and also some spare light at the end of the tunnel. For the first time SEASURFER mastermind Dirk Knight recorded all instruments by himself, adding a few vocals as well. Lung that propelled them into the limelight and received accolades from the likes of The Times, The Guardian, Q, Paste, Mojo and more, resulting in sell-out shows across the UK and Europe. On 11th December Melodic will release 'Incidental Music Remixed' a set of album remixes which were originally created as a bonus item CD for Piccadilly Records, who made W H Lung's debut album their no.1 release of the year in 2019.
