News from Tokyo, Japan debut dreampop / shoegaze band...

Moon In June is back with "evergreen", their first release in two years. Following the 2020 release of "Uminari", the band underwent a lineup change and retooled their sound en route to a drastically different-sounding sophomore effort. While their debut garnered acclaim both within domestic shoegaze circles and the global shoegaze community on the back of a big billowy blend of shoegaze and post rock, the followup offers a completely different look. A pop-leaning shoegaze effort that's drawn comparisons to the likes of Pains of Being Pure of Heart while giving clear nods to Japanese acts such as Galileo Galilei and Spitz, "evergreen" shows off Moon in June's tremendous versatility and their ability to confidently explore the shoegaze genre with impressive results. 2018 

年に東京で結成されたドリームポップ～ シューゲイズ・バンド、Moon In June。 2020 年発表の1st EP「海鳴り」はシューゲイザーやポストロックを下地にした、光と音の洪水のようなサウンドで 国内の専門店を中心に話題となり、さらに海外のシューゲイズ・ギークからも絶賛されました。 そして、メンバー・チェンジを経て約2 年振りに発表されたのがこの2nd EP で、Pains Of Being Pure At Heart の ような微炭酸シューゲイザー、スピッツやGalileo Galilei からの影響を感じさせる甘酸っぱいポップ・チューンなど、 前作からドラスティックな変貌を遂げた全6 曲を収録！
