Mixed by: Flytrap Studio Gates is our interpretation of our struggle in a society that sometimes outcast you as an individual for having mental struggles and your unique way of coping to every day life. There's always that feeling of being alone and the fear of being left out by group of norms. We say that wherever you are in your life right now, It is okay, it is normal, you are normal. We (Mark and Gian) started the Vicegrip band May of 2022. It started when we bought our scooters and fell in love with the British mods concept, we decided to make new music outside of what usually we've been playing (post rock), mostly influenced by post punk, shoegaze, dreampop

Formed in 2005, Loma Prieta have been a mainstay of the Bay Area hardcore community for more than half a decade. In that time they have released four 12 inch records and two 7 inch records mostly on their own label, Discos Huelga. They have also toured the U.S., Japan, Canada, and Mexico numerous times, all while members play in several other hardcore bands.
