Finská pětice Cina Polada se nám vrací tento týden s novým materiálem. Jejich začátky spadají do roku 2015, kdy kapela natočila singly Growing Up, Y​.​D​.​D​.​M. a Face 2 Face. Líbivý kytarový popík s příjemným ženským vokálem opět dokazuje, že ve Skandinávii mají stále čich na skvělé melodické písně. Zbrusu nové eponymní EP obsahuje 5 skladeb a je k dispozici také limitovaně na kazetách, vše vychází díky švédskému labelu Strangers Candy.

Pokud vám něco říká londýnská kytarovka Veronica Falls, tak vězte že jejich ex členka Roxanne Clifford už přes rok jede na novém vlastním projektu Patience. Zlato totiž získala již loni v květnu za singl The Church, tentokrát má štěstí na další. Aktuální sedmipalec White Of An Eye je opět načichlý půvabným synth popíkem a vydává jej znovu label Night School. Na béčku najdete ještě skladbu Blue Sparks, titulní píseň byla jinak vypuštěna coby video již v polovině července.

Swimming Tapes, celkem stále nová kapela z Londýna nám tento pátek podává své nové EP. Jejich předchozí loňské singly, především Set the Fire či Souvenirs už také bodovali v mé chart a v pravidelných singlech týdne. V lednu jinak obě písně vyšly na EP, které doplňují skladby Tides + Cameos. Myslím, že tato pětice tvořící moc příjemný snový popík, má ambice proniknout mezi širší publikum nejen na pomezí indie scény. Tento nový materiál obsahuje 4 kousky, vše pod labelem Hand In Hive, pro americký trh vychází u B3SCI Records, k dispozici je také 12" vinyl.

Celkem známá kapela pro fandy současného shoegaze, Dead Leaf Echo bude mít již brzo venku své druhé album Beyond.Desire. Letos již vypustila tato NY parta EP Strawberry Skin, kterou tam mimojiné také najdete. Těch EP mají na svém kontě od roku 2006 co tak počítám celkově sedm, debutové album Thought & Language vyšlo v roce 2013. Z toho nového byl dříve vypuštěn singl Lemonheart, tentokrát je na řadě před vydáním skladba Temple. Deska jinak vyjde 13/10 pod PaperCup Music.

Londýnské dvojce Bicep, která míchá chytlavý electro house, techno i disco právě dnes v pátek vychází eponymní debutové album. Andrew Ferguson + Matthew McBriar to v tomto projektu rozjeli v roce 2008, na svém kontě mají celkem dost EP i singlů. Z aktuální desky jsou venku 3 singly Glue, Vale a Aura. Ten poslední vyšel jinak i jako 12" vinyl a tento týden dostal i ofi video pod známým labelem Ninja Tune.
