1) Meltway - Everytime
Dánská kytarová indie scéna má nový přírustek. Jedná se kapelu Meltway a jejich debutové EP Everytime ovlivněné snovým indie-rockem a hlavně shoegaze scénou 90 let. Jsou jinak čtyři a na tomto materiálu najdete celkem 5 skladeb, mě osobně zatím zaujala nejvíce píseň From Blue.
Meltway are 3 Danes and a Norwegian, with a love for shoegazing and dreamy atmospheres.
Dreamy and noisy indie-rock heavily inspired by the 90's shoegaze-scene.
Their debut effort, Everytime, invokes a state of melodrama, daydreaming and soothing euphoria, which often collide in a lo-fi grandeur.
Hazy guitars, distorted basslines, and the occasional analog synthesizer are used in meditative stretches and sonic manipulations to create an ambient and ethereal soundscape.
Vocals are supremely airy and introvert, adding a warm and comforting element in the lo-fi universe. The lyrical themes of heartbreak and longing become less oppressive and overshadowing, and more accepting.
